What this site collects, what the brief form sends us, and how to get it deleted. It is short, because there is not much of it.
Who this is about
BYD Tech is a small software studio. We build MVPs, AI agents, and web and mobile apps for startup founders and growing businesses, and our team works from India.
The registered legal name and address that belong in this section are still being finalized. We would rather leave the gap where you can see it than print a name that turns out to be the wrong one. Until it is settled, the way to reach the people responsible for anything on this page is email, and a founder is the one who reads it.

What the site collects on its own
Nothing. Reading a page here sets no cookies at all, which is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss and no consent to withdraw.
There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, and no embedded widget from anyone else. We do not know which pages you read, how long you stayed, or where you arrived from.
The typefaces are built into the site when it is deployed and served from this domain, so opening a page sends no request to Google or to any other font host.
The one thing we will not claim is zero. Whichever company hosts these pages keeps its own server request logs, the way every web host does. We do not export those logs, join them to anything else, or use them to build a picture of a visitor.
What the brief form sends us
The brief form is the only thing on this site that asks you for anything, and it sends nothing until you fill it in and press the button. Nothing leaves the page while you type.
- Your name and your email address. Both are required, because a brief we cannot reply to is no use to either of us.
- What you are building: the description you write in your own words.
- The service you picked from the dropdown, if you picked one, and your phone number, if you gave one. Both are optional and both can be left empty.
- Which page of this site you sent it from, and a marker recording that it came through the website rather than by email.
That is the whole list. No field quietly records who you are, where you came from, or what you looked at first.
The form does carry one box that people never see and automated spam scripts fill in anyway. If anything fills it, the submission is dropped in your browser and never sent. We mention it because you would find it in the page source and wonder.
Where a brief goes
It posts to our own API. That writes one row into our own database and sends the founders an email carrying the same details. Your address is set as the reply-to on that email, so a founder answering it replies straight back to you.
Only the founders can read the list of briefs, and it sits behind a login.
It goes nowhere else. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or feed it to an advertising tool. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and no automated sequence is waiting for it.
Two outside companies are involved in the mechanics: one hosts the database, one carries the email. Each handles the data only to do that job. Which companies those are is being settled alongside the registered entity, and we are not going to name a provider here before it is the one actually running. Ask us and we will tell you what is in place on the day you ask.
One mechanical detail, because it touches you directly: our API limits how many briefs can arrive from a single network address in a fifteen-minute window, so one script cannot flood the founders' inbox. That counter holds the address in the server's memory for the length of the window and nothing reads it afterward. It is never written into a brief or into the database.
How long we keep it
We keep briefs so we can pick a conversation back up months later, which happens more often than you would expect. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule, and we are not going to publish one we do not actually run.
What we do run is simple: ask us, and we delete it.
Getting a copy, a correction, or a deletion
Email us from the address you used on the form and say which you want. A founder does it by hand and replies to tell you it is done. There is no portal, no ticket number, and no account to create.
- Deleting means the row comes out of the database and the notification email comes out of the inboxes we control.
- An email we have already replied to may sit in a mail provider's backup for a while after that. We cannot reach into those, and we are not going to claim we can.
- In practice this takes a day or two, because a person is doing it rather than a system.
If you would rather we held nothing at all, do not use the form. An email to us is still an email we hold, and the scheduling tool behind our booking button keeps its own record too, so there is no way to reach us that leaves no trace anywhere. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
Links that leave this site
The booking button opens Calendly, a scheduling tool run by another company, in a new tab. From the moment their page loads their privacy policy applies and ours does not. We do not control what they collect, and we send them nothing about you in advance. The link carries only which service, or which suggested topic, the button was for. What you type there, your name, your email and the time you pick, is held by them, and it is how we learn that you booked.
The same is true of any other link here that takes you off this domain.
When this page changes
This page changes when the site does: when the entity details are settled, when a provider is chosen, or if we ever add something that collects more than the form does. The date at the top moves with it. We do not keep old versions online, so if a particular version matters to you, save a copy.
